Hana paints the human figure — the vessel of our connections. In a House dedicated to the art of meeting others, her work feels essential.
I was drawn to the journey she represents: moving from Zagreb to Lisbon specifically to pursue her craft. That deliberate choice — to uproot oneself for the sake of creation — resonates with the spirit of this House. Her work brings a quiet, contemplative human presence to our walls, reminding us that behind every conversation at our table is a complex, layered individual.
— PedroBorn in Zagreb, Croatia (1988), Hana Tischler is a figurative painter who navigates the space between reality and emotion. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, she moved to Portugal in 2016 to immerse herself in a new artistic landscape.
Now based in Lisbon, she creates from Mitó Creative Site, a prominent artist collective. Working across acrylic, oil, and charcoal, her pieces often explore the female gaze and the subtleties of the human form. She is currently represented by Roots Art Gallery (Viana do Castelo).
@hana_corrHana's work passed through the House for Season 01. The painting has since travelled on. The presence it brought to the room — the company at the table — has not.
